Funnily enough, I was a slow reader as a student and got easily frustrated trying to keep up with the other kids. However, I've always loved reading and writing stories! When the "Harry Potter" series started, I was given the first book and fell in love with reading! I still enjoy taking my time reading and re-reading to pick up on extra details the author leaves for the reader. Fantasy quickly became my favorite genre, and is still largely one of my favorite types of stories to read. I studied English and Creative Writing in college, and I'm really enjoy teaching Library at St. Philips for grades TK-3rd! I love sharing my favorite stories with them and really like hearing what their favorite stories are.
