Social Studies Podcast Special Episode on SCOTUS.

On Wednesday 2-17-16 the Social Studies Pod Cast recorded a special episode dedicated to the vacancy on the Supreme Court that came about due to the unexpected death of Justice Antonin Scalia. The 79 year old, longest serving, member of the court was a firebrand and major proponent of conservative ideals during his 30+ year tenure on the bench. The students on the Pod Cast discussed what they feel the vacancy means and why they believe the Senate Republicans are so set against confirming a potential nominee from President Obama. We managed to get ahold of several of our outstanding sound issues, mostly through practicing how to speak into the mics and adjusting headphone levels for the contributors. We hope you enjoy our special Episode 4.
