You should know by now that I love a good library challenge. This month, in honor of Halloween I thought it would be fun to have the students design a costume of their favorite character. If their character doesn’t wear a particular outfit or costume then I asked them to draw how they see the character based on the authors description.
The only rules I gave are:
- The character has to be from a book in our library.
- You have to have read the book.
- You draw how you imagine the character to be based on the authors description
After drawing my character I’ve decided to actually make the costume to wear on Halloween. I am very excited! Here is my costume design.
It’s not too late to submit your own entries. What will yours be?
