Challenge: Character Costume Design

You should know by now that I love a good library challenge. This month, in honor of Halloween I thought it would be fun to have the students design a costume of their favorite character. If their character doesn’t wear a particular outfit or costume then I asked them to draw how they see the character based on the authors description.

The only rules I gave are:

  1. The character has to be from a book in our library.
  2. You have to have read the book.
  3. You draw how you imagine the character to be based on the authors description

After drawing my character I’ve decided to actually make the costume to wear on Halloween. I am very excited! Here is my costume design.
