Recently, the 4th grade classes have started looking into the 100’s section of the Dewey Decimal System. I have blogged about this topic before, twice in fact. You can read the other posts here and here. In the past I have focused on the philosophical side of the Dewey 100’s. They always lead to a good discussion with my classes. Today I find myself wanted to share another aspect of the Dewey 100’s, that of psychology and Ethics. In other words the various self help books available for check out in the library. We have quite a few book geared toward your problems and concerns. It is always good to share your feelings with an adult and should be the first step. But, if you need to work up the courage or just want to read up on some difficult subjects these books be just right.
